City Chic Townhome
Project Size: 2000 sq.ft
For a successful corporate professional starting her journey in her first Toronto home, Broadview transformed into a sanctuary of elegance and comfort. We began by dissolving the previous disconnection of the space, imbuing it with a renewed sense of vitality through carefully selected wood elements, neutral tones, and thoughtfully applied paint techniques. The introduction of a feature wall with asymmetric slats and diverse textures adds layers of visual intrigue, while subtle green accents infuse a personal touch of warmth. This reimagined sanctuary now stands as a tribute to timeless modernity, where each design choice—though understated—contributes to a tranquil retreat from the demands of daily life.

Custom-designed wall slats flank the space, with a cohesive pattern behind the television and a deliberately varied arrangement on the opposite side. This design choice creates a visually engaging backdrop, adding depth and structure to the room while enhancing its modern aesthetic.
-
A sophisticated paint technique was employed to introduce dimensionality and depth to the room. By strategically selecting specific locations to apply paint, we enhanced the rooms spatial perception adding a rich and textured feel.
-
The color scheme features a refined blend of neutral tones accented with green and natural wood. This palette was chosen to create a warm and inviting environment while avoiding bold prints or colors, ensuring the space remains modern and enduring.
-
The room was transformed with appropriately scaled furniture that enhances both function and visual balance. Replacing smaller pieces with larger, well-proportioned items has improved the room's flow and made it more comfortable and cohesive.

Wood accents and green touches are central to the design, reflecting the client’s preferences. Wood elements provide warmth and texture, while green accents offer a subtle splash of color, contributing to a harmonious and well-balanced interior.
